  • Essential Fatty Acids (EFAs) like w-3 (Omega-3) acids are natural moisturisers of the skin. Include rich sources in your diet like fish, flax seed, almonds, walnuts etc. Or ask your dermatologist to prescribe an EFA supplement.

  • Certain diseases like psoriasis and atopic dermatitis can worsen in dry and cold weather. Patients suffering from them must use moisturisers regularly and consult their dermatologists for prevention of flare-ups and maintenance.
