Homemade face pack

December 9, 2008
  • Cut open a mature aloe leaf (available at certain fruit and vegetable shops), trim the cuticle and use it to massage your body before your bath. It's a great skin hydrator and softener.

  • Make a face pack for dry skin with 5 almonds ground to a paste, 5 ml olive oil and a teaspoon of fresh cream. Leave on for 10 minutes and rinse with warm water.

  • For dry and cracked palms and soles mix an intensive moisturising cream (like Physiogel or Dermadew) with a mometasone-salicylic acid combination (like HH Salic cream) and apply overnight. If they don't get better in two weeks, consult a dermatologist.
