Homemade face pack
December 9, 2008
Cut open a mature aloe leaf (available at certain fruit and vegetable shops), trim the cuticle and use it to massage your body before your bath. It's a great skin hydrator and softener.
Make a face pack for dry skin with 5 almonds ground to a paste, 5 ml olive oil and a teaspoon of fresh cream. Leave on for 10 minutes and rinse with warm water.
For dry and cracked palms and soles mix an intensive moisturising cream (like Physiogel or Dermadew) with a mometasone-salicylic acid combination (like HH Salic cream) and apply overnight. If they don't get better in two weeks, consult a dermatologist.
