At one with nature

We only noticed the amazing beauty of the green forest and grasslands around us on our way down. We were so busy watching our step on our way up that we failed to notice it then.

We reached the start point exhausted and went straight to the hotel to rest our tired limbs.

It took nearly eight hours of continuous trekking to conquer the mighty Chembra.

Airfare for Rs 599 and less!

How to get there

The closest airport/railhead is Kozhikode, 72 km away. Kalpetta is well connected by road with Kozhikode, Kannur, Ooty (115 km) and Mysore (140 km), Bangalore (282 km) and Kochi (282 km).

Where to stay

There are plenty of options, like Everglades hotel, Green Gates hotel, Vythiri resort, Rain Country resorts, Pranavam homestay, Stream Valley Cottages, etc. For more information, check www.wayanad.nic.in/kpta.htm
