Spellbound in God's Own Country
We spent the rest of the day at the resort lazing on the hammock or taking a dip in the pool that overlooked the serene Vembanad lake.
One can also visit the famous Driftwood Museum in Kumarakom.

The next day, we visited the famous Guruvayur temple before heading back to Chennai.
We returned with lingering memories of a beautiful vacation in a place blessed with an abundance of pristine natural beauty.
Kerala definitely had much more to offer than we had expected!
