We started our trek for Basrikal gate, 10 km from Kudremukh at 11am. The journey took us through a dam construction site and then through the magnificent coffee estates.
Very soon our group split into three.
A rather determined Ajay walked off in a running pace and was joined by Prashanth and Sathish. They were around 15 minutes ahead of us.
Since Vijay could not match their pace I decided to stay with him.
Ananth, Sukanth, Bharath and Hemanth were way too slow, and much behind us.
