Sharad Pawar elected MCA president

Nationalist Congress Party president and former Maharashtra Chief Minister Sharad Pawar was declared elected unopposed president of the Mumbai Cricket Association for a second term on Friday.

MCA vice- president Pravin Barve said election for other office-bearers would take place on April 30.

The MCA election committee decided to declare Pawar elected as he was the only candidate left in the fray for the post, Barve said.
