Dalmiya to meet ICC bosses in Kuala Lumpur

Board of Control for Cricket in India president Jagmohan Dalmiya on Friday accepted the invitation from the International Cricket Council for a meeting with its top brass in Kuala Lumpur on Saturday, raising the hopes of a possible solution of their stand-off which is threatening to split the world cricket.

"Yes I am making arrangements for travelling to Kuala Lumpur as early as posssible," said Dalmiya

The ICC Chief Executive Malcolm Speed had announced in London on Thursday that he and ICC Chairman Malcolm Gray have offered to meet Dalmiya in the Malaysian capital on Saturday to resolve the present impasse resulting from the harsh punishments given to six Indian players by ICC match referee Mike Denness and subsequent Indian protests.

ICC has been insisting that Virender Sehwag should not play in the Mohali Test against England on December 3 because of the one-match ban imposed on him.

Dalmiya said that he has already informed the ICC about his plans to travel to Kuala Lumpur for the meeting.
