Iraq expels CNN reporters

March 22, 2003 00:47 IST

American news channel Cable News Network said on Friday that the Iraqi government had expelled its journalists from Baghdad.

Nic Robertson and Rym Brahimi were among the last foreign journalists to be reporting live, before they were asked to leave the country.

They were expected to leave for Jordan.

The news network had placed several cameras in Baghdad from which it was showing live pictures worldwide.
