Getting There

Kanyakumari is well connected by train. Trains from Bangalore, Bombay and even New Delhi and Jammu terminate at this southernmost point of the subcontinent. In fact the longest train journey across the length of India is from Jammu to Kanyakumari and takes three days and a half days.

However Kanyakumari is easily accessible by road -- by bus or by rented car -- from Trivandrum. Trivandrum is just 86 km away.
