Japanese car manufacturer Honda took full control of the BAR team in 2006 after acquiring a 100% stake taking over from owners British American Tobacco at the end of 2005.
Honda joins BMW, Renault, Toyota and Ferrari as the fifth fully-funded works operation in Formula One.
