Two persons were arrested for allegedly looting diamonds worth over Rs 3 crore from the residence of a leading Mumbai jeweller.

The two were arrested by the Mumbai crime branch sleuths late Wednesday night, Joint Commissioner of Police (crime) Meera Borwankar told PTI.

The duo had allegedly stolen the diamonds from the residence of Tribhuvandas Bhimji Zaveri at Gamdevi in central Mumbai on November 8, he said, adding that the gems have been recovered from them.
