England [Images] captain Michael Vaughan [Images] won his third consecutive toss and elected to bowl first on the second day of the fourth and final Test at Durham's Chester-le-Street ground on Saturday.

Play will begin three hours late because overnight rain delayed the start after the first day was washed out.

England, who have an unbeatable 2-0 lead in the series, made one change from the team that won at Old Trafford on Monday.

Liam Plunkett has been replaced by Matthew Hoggard [Images], who has recovered from the groin injury that kept him out of the previous two matches.

West Indies [Images] made two changes.

They recalled Daren Powell [Images] for fellow pace bowler Jerome Taylor [Images] while Darren Sammy, who claimed seven for 66 on his debut in the last match, was left out with a hamstring injury and was replaced by Marlon Samuels.

Samuels plays his first Test of the series since he was drafted into the squad for injured captain Ramnaresh Sarwan [Images].

The first Test at Lord's was drawn and West Indies lost the second match at Headingley by an innings and 283 runs before their second defeat, by 60 runs, at Old trafford on Monday.

Teams:

England: Michael Vaughan (captain), Andrew Strauss [Images], Alastair Cook [Images], Kevin Pietersen [Images], Paul Collingwood [Images], Ian Bell [Images], Matt Prior (wicketkeeper), Steve Harmison, Matthew Hoggard, Monty Panesar [Images], Ryan Sidebottom.

West Indies: Daren Ganga [Images] (captain), Chris Gayle, Devon Smith, Runako Morton, Shivnarine Chanderpaul [Images], Marlon Samuels, Dwayne Bravo [Images], Denesh Ramdin (wicketkeeper), Daren Powell, Fidel Edwards, Corey Collymore.
