TN, Karnataka govts's ultimatum to Veerappan

The Tamil Nadu and Karnataka governments on Saturday issued an ultimatum to forest brigand Veerappan.

He has been asked to release the six people held hostage by him within a week or face action as per law.

The decision was taken at meeting between Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M Karunanidhi and his Karnataka counterpart J H Patel in Madras.
