Two persons were arrested on Tuesday from Kerala's [Images] Aluva for their suspected SIMI [Images] links.

 The two were identified as Mohihydeen and Nissar, police said.Both have been taken to Malappuram for further questioning, they said.

 The duo had reportedly participated in thePanayikkulam meeting near Aluva on August 15, 2006, organised by SIMI.

 Police had earlier taken into custody three others -- -- Nissar, Abdul Hakeen and Shameer for attending the Panayikkulam meeting.

In the wake of the recent bomb blasts at various places in the country, the Kerala Police have reopened the case and constituted a special investigating team, headed by DIG T K Vinod Kumar, to conduct investigations.
