Hours before the world was to observe the second anniversary of the September 11 attacks on the World Trade Center and Pentagon, Osama bin Laden, widely regarded as the mastermind of the devastating attacks, reared his head again.
In a tape telecast by Qatar-based Al Jazeera television channel Laden and his deputy Ayman al-Zawahri promised more attacks against America and its interests around the world.
