I can converse with Advani in Sindhi: Jamali

May 06, 2003 20:55 IST

Pakistan Prime Minister Mir Zafarullah Khan Jamali on Tuesday said that he would 'not mind' talking to Deputy Prime Minister Lal Kishenchand Advani as he could converse in Sindhi with ease.

"I do not mind talking to Advani and in fact I won't face any problems in talking to him as we can converse much with ease in Sindhi language," Jamali said in a lighter vein at a news conference in Islamabad, where he announced a series of confidence building measures, including restoration of full diplomatic relations with India.

He was asked whether he had talked with the Indian deputy prime minister, who the questioner claimed was a hardliner.
