Lok Ayukt dismisses charges
against Ajit Jogi

The Lok Ayukt on Thursday dismissed a petition, alleging corruption in the Hasdeo-Bango irrigation project, against Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Ajit Jogi and five of his top officials.

After evaluating several points and examining 12 persons, no misconduct on the part of the chief minister or others was
proved, Lok Ayukt chief Justice Krishna Murari Agrawal said in Raipur.

Others exonerated were retired Chief Secretary Arun Kumar, retired water resources secretary Dr Sushil Trivedi and
three engineers in the irrigation department N L Agrawal, N S Bhadoria and S K Bhaduri.
