Now, Rakesh Roshan turns hostile in Bharat Shah case

Filmmaker Rakesh Roshan on Wednesday turned hostile in the case of alleged Bollywood nexus with the underworld and denied having received extortion threats from underworld dons Abu Salem and Chhota Shakeel.

Earlier, in a statement to police, Roshan had said he received threats.

Roshan is the 12th witness to turn hostile.

The others are actor Shah Rukh Khan, director Anees Bazmee, producer Sanjay Gupta, director Mahesh Manjrekar, owner of Venus music company Ratan Jain, financier Harish Sughand, businessmen Aftab Patel and Mohammed Ali Morani, Kumar Mangat Pathak, secretary of film actor Ajay Devgan and director Ali Morani.
