A still from Ra.One

After Ram Gopal Varma took a dig at Shah Rukh Khan, it is Mahesh Bhatt's turn.

The director thinks it is time people learnt that fantasy cannot resolve problems. Surprisingly, he used SRK's name rather than the fictional character in the film, G.One.

'When will we learn that Fantasy cannot resolve reality. Batman & SRK will resolve our problems in the virtual world not in the real world. A hero holds up under scrutiny. His feet r made of blood, flesh & bone & not clay. He is not a media construct contrived to serve a need,' he tweeted.

He also took a dig at Shah Rukh's endless marketing. 'We don't need self promoting vain heroes to nourish our battered belief or to tell us that there still are good people doing good deeds. Reminded of Tina Turner's old number: We don't need another hero, we don't need to know the way home,' he added later.
