The wait is finally coming to an end. The stunning Deepika Padukone's first film, Aishwarya, is ready for release.
Ever since Deepika became one of the most sought after models in India, film offers poured in. Instead of Bollywood, however, she chose to make her debut in a Kannada film, directed by the young and stylish Indrajith Lankesh, who also edits the popular Kannada weekly Lankesh Patrike.
Deepika is paired with Kannada superstar Upendra in the film. She spoke to R G Vijayasarathy about her experiences.
