Nasscom 2003 from Feb 11-14 in Mumbai

National Association of Software and Services Companies' annual international business conference--Nasscom 2003-- will be held in Mumbai from February 11-14 with the theme 'Leveraging Knowledge Capital for Enabling Growth'.

IT and Communications Minister Pramod Mahajan will inaugurate the event, which will see participation of iternationally renowned speakers like Paul Saffo, director of Institute for the Future and Don Tapscott, international consultant, author and speaker on business strategy.

Foreign dignitaries at the conference would include Minister for Small Business of United Kingdom, Nigel Griffiths and Italian Minister for Telecom Maurizio Gasparrai.

The event is being touted as a platform for Indian vendors to restrategise their business in the changed market environment.

According to Nasscom President Kiran Karnik, the conference would focus on high growth and emerging vertical tracks, business process outsourcing and new opportunities.

Key tracks at the conference would span Customer Speak (dealing with global trends and opportunities in key verticals segments); Emerging Opportunities (discussions and presentations on the opportunities and future of semiconductor technology and embedded software amongst others) and Business Alliances (workshops focussing on areas of opportunity).
