Mphasis mulls 1:1 bonus issue on April 17

The Mphasis BFL Group will convene a board meeting in Bangalore on April 17 to consider and approve the bonus share issue and a new employee stock option plan.

Deciding this at their meeting held in Bangalore on Wednesday, the company said that the Board will take up the issue for shareholders' approval on a 1:1 basis.

The Mphasis group is a leading provider of software and system integration technology and IT-enabled services for consumer-focused corporations. Its clients include blue chip companies like ABN Amro, Chase Manhattan Bank, Citigroup and ICICI Bank, said a company release.
