With people working out of home and skipping their gym sessions because of the coronavirus scare, Katrina Kaif and fitness instructor Yasmin Karachiwala have some inspiration on how to stay safe and be active.

The duo shared a couple of workout videos, which can be easily done at home -- from simple squats and side leg lifts to sit ups and lunges, it is all the motivation one needs.

'Now that the government has said that most of the gyms will be shut for sometime, I still think that we can do small workouts at home for 20-25 minutes,' Katrina shared on Instagram.

'You don't have to stress your body but even a little bit of workout is really good for your immunity. It also keeps you endorphins up at a time when there is a lot of fear and anxiety.'

Yasmin added, 'Be positive, be happy. Here is a routine that you can do at home for 20 mins that will make you happy.'

So get dressed in your workout gear and try these exercises from the comfort of your home.

Squat and side leg lifts (3 sets x 20 reps)

Reverse lunge with kick (3 sets x 15 reps)

Sit up (3 sets x 20 reps)

Push up (3 sets x 15 reps)

Plank to T (3 sets x 15 reps)

Mountain climbers (4 slow and 15 tempo x 3 sets)
