Xiaomi has recently announced the signature edition of its flagship Redmi K20 Pro smartphone.

With the launch of Redmi K20 Pro, the Chinese phone maker has marked its completion of five years in India.

The Redmi K20 signature edition phone is not gold plated but it's made of solid gold and embellished with diamonds, the company claims.

Confirming the news, Manu Kumar Jain, vice president, Xiaomi and managing director, Xiaomi India said that only 20 units of the smartphone would be produced for sale.

The cost of making the phone is Rs 4.8 lakhs, and  Xiaomi will be selling the phone at the same price. Which means the phone's hardware comes for free.

So what's so exciting about the K20? Let's find out.

The regular K20 Pro comes in two variants -- 6 GB RAM + 128 GB ROM and 8 GB RAM + 256 GB ROM priced at Rs 27,999 and Rs 30,999 respectively.

For the signature edition, the innards are the same barring the gold body.

Redmi K20 Pro is also one of the most awaited flagships from Xiaomi especially after the success of its Poco F1 known as the flagship killer.

If you look at its specifications and features, the K20 Pro is in direct competition with OnePlus 7 Pro.
