Meher Pudumjee

March 6, 2009
Her mother, Anu Aga, was chairperson of the engineering organisation Thermax Ltd and the eighth richest woman in India. But before Meher succeeded her retired mother's position in 2004, she joined the company as a trainee engineer and learned the ins and outs of the business for 14 years. Along with her husband, Meher has put Thermax on a the path to success; she is also a mother of two and the member of a choir. How's that for diversity!

Life lesson from Meher:

  • You can't have your dues fall into your lap; you have to earn them.
