Uday Kuckian
Model watch: Ranjeet Bhosle

Just 22 years old and still in college, this model has been in the industry for 1.5- 2 years now. He got into the profession quite by accident. He was spotted by a designer cum choreographer who liked his look and introduced him to the profession.

On four Fashion Weeks:
Two years ago, men's fashion was non-existent. Now, more designers have started it. It's been a great help to models; it gets us more work. The only thing is that the fashion weeks should be spread out.

On keeping fit:
I work out a lot -- 2 hours each day. I also watch my diet closely; I avoid oily and junk food. Also, it's important to drink lots of water.

On modelling as a career:
I enjoy it thouroughly. It gives me exposure and is a fun job. But it's only something to do while I'm in college. Once college is over, I'll either join my dad's business or become an actor. I'm not sure yet.

On his personal style:
I like to keep it simple. There's this local designer from Pune, called Nivedita Sabu. She's a friend and designs my clothes for me. Left to me, I'd live in jeans and a T-shirt.

On the clothes he wears on ramp:
Well, this time I was unhappy with the clothes I wore for Leconet Hemant. They were unwearable, in my opinion. But I don't say anything to the designer even if I'm unhappy. It's my job to wear these clothes and walk- and that's what I do.

On Diwali plans:
I come from Satara and I'm going back home for Diwali on the 25th. My mom will kill me if I don't go, she's already been calling since the past three days.
