Tata-IBM to enter E-biz

Tata-IBM Ltd is entering the electronics business with new services that will help large Indian firms across the world to communicate and conclude transactions.

Tata-IBM will not use the conventional methods in use and will work through the Internet and IBM's global networks.

across platforms. The company has already tested the potential of E-business in India at its Bangalore competency centre. The company will also hold road shows across the country to push its services.

The company also has products to support E-business, including server and starter packs for intranets and net commerce, and IBM firewalls for secure Net-based transactions.
