Salim Kumar
Salim Kumar was just a comedian till director Lal Jose asked him to play an old man -- a father of four grown-up girls.
Kumar won everybody's sympathy as a widower who could not sleep because he was all the time worried about his daughters. His eyes reflected the title of the film, Achanuranagtha Veedu -- a house where the father does not sleep. His compelling performance won him the Kerala State Award.
