Local meteorologist Colin Anderson said Durban is in for a cloudy day with occasional rain Thursday with a fresh south-easterly wind blowing.

He was quoted in the local Daily News as saying, "It will be very cool and overcast with constant showers throughout the day."

With 80 per cent chance for thundershowers on Thursday, a shortened semi-final might be on the cards.

The rain is expected to clear up by Friday morning
