Indian Airlines will start international flights from the new Cochin International Airport, at Nedumbassery, to Sharjah on June 14.

IC 1989 will depart from Cochin at 1840 hours on Sundays and reach Sharjah at 2140 hours.
IC 975 will depart from Cochin at 1645 hours on Mondays and Fridays and reach Sharjah at 1945 hours.
IC 1990 will depart from Sharjah at 0050 hours on Mondays and reach Cochin at 0600 hours.
IC 976 will depart from Sharjah at 2050 hours on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays and reach Cochin at 0200 hours.

The one way economy class fare between Cochin and Sharjah is Rs 12,935. The one way business class fare between Cochin and Sharjah is Rs 14,865. The three month excursion fare on economy class between Cochin and Sharjah is Rs 17,920. The three month excursion fare on business class between Cochin and Sharjah is Rs 23,085.

Sharjah express

Indian Airlines has introduced additional flights between Sharjah and New Delhi, Madras, Hyderabad, Calicut, Tiruchirapalli, Lucknow and Amritsar till July 15.

IC 967 will depart from Trichy at 1200 hours IST on Tuesdays and Saturdays and reach Sharjah at 1540 hours local time.
IC 975 will depart from Trichy at 1555 hours IST on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays and reach Sharjah at 2000 hours local time.
IC 968 will depart from Sharjah at 0245 hours local time on Wednesdays and Sundays and reach Trichy at 0850 hours IST.
IC 976 will depart from Sharjah at 2150 hours local time on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays and reach Trichy at 0320 hours IST.

The Nightbird

Indian Airlines has increased the frequency of its night flights between Bombay and New Delhi on its subsidiary Alliance Air.

CD 443 will depart daily, from Bombay at 2300 hours IST and arrives in New Delhi at 0055 hours IST daily.

CD 444 will depart daily, from New Delhi at 2300 hours IST and arrives in Bombay at 0055 hours IST daily.

The one way economy class fare between Bombay and New Delhi is Rs 5,110. Alliance Air offers a 30 per cent discount. This offer is valid till further notice.

By IA into KL

Indian Airlines has introduced a direct flight to Kuala Lumpur from Bangalore.

The new flight, IC 953 will depart from Bangalore at 2320 hours IST on Tuesdays and Saturdays and reach Kuala Lumpur the following day at 0655 hours local time.
In the return direction IC 954 flight would depart from Kuala Lumpur at 0750 hours local time on Wednesdays and Sundays and reach Bangalore at 1015 hours IST.
The one way economy air fare is Rs 16,705. The one way business class fare is Rs 19,205. Discounts are available at your nearest travel agent.

Flight from the capital
Indian Airlines introduced a flight to Vishakapatnam from New Delhi.
The new flight will depart from New Delhi on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays and reach Vizag via Bhubaneshwar before proceeding to Bombay. In the return direction the flight would depart from Bombay on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays and reach Vizag and then proceed to Bhubaneshwar and then New Delhi.
Presently an Indian Airlines flight operates on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays departing from Bombay at 1100 hours reaching Vishakapatnam at 1245 hours and then Bhubaneshwar at 1410 hours. This flight will be extended to fly up to New Delhi.

Indian Airlines introduced a night flight between New Delhi and Bombay on its subsidiary Alliance Air.
The one way economy class fare between New Delhi and Bombay is Rs 4,605 and Alliance Air offers an introductory 30 per cent discount.

Indian Airlines now offers a same day return flight for passengers travelling from Bombay to Ahmedabad.
- The IC 613 Bombay-Ahmedabad flight departs daily at 0835 hours IST and reaches Ahmedabad at 0935 hours IST.
- The return flight IC CD 104 leaves Ahmedabad at 1920 hours IST and reaches Bombay at 2020 hours IST.
The one-way economy fare from Bombay to Ahmedabad is Rs 2,290. The one way business class fare is Rs 3,375.

Indian Airlines now offers a same day return flight for passengers travelling from Bombay to Calcutta.
The one-way economy fare from Bombay to Calcutta is Rs 6,180. The one way business class fare is Rs 9,210.

Indian Airlines now offers a same day return flight for passengers travelling from Bombay to Delhi.
Indian Airlines now operates six flights to New Delhi daily from Bombay. And six flights to Delhi from Bombay.
There are three evening flights to New Delhi departing at 1700, 1845 and 2030 from Bombay and reaching New Delhi at 1855, 2040, and 2225 hours IST respectively.
And there are three morning flights to Bombay departing at 0630, 0800 and 0930 hours IST and reaching Bombay at 0825, 0955 and 1125 hours IST respectively
The one-way economy fare from Bombay to New Delhi is Rs 4,065. The one way business class fare is Rs 6,850.
