Actress Katrina Kaif wanted to participate in her first-ever Standard Chartered Mumbai Marathon, on Sunday, but things don’t go as planned.
Her fitness trainer, Yasmin Karachiwala, revealed, “In spite of trying really hard, Katrina's ongoing hip injury will not allow her to run this year. We'll be back next year.”

Actor John Abraham was also seen with Pro Kabaddi League team UMumba’s top players. The players took to the streets of the city for a Dream Run support Swades.
Actress and television host Maria Goretti completed her first half marathon. Known for her chirpy style of veejaying, the mother of two tweeted, “And I'm ecstatic… I finished my first Half-Marathon.”
Mumbai-based jewellery designer Shaheen Abbas also ran her first half marathon. She wrote, “First half marathon done and dusted...made it in 2:38! Struggled, laughed, danced, ran and just did it.”
