Indian golfer Karandeep Kochhar is making waves at the International Series Japan, finishing the second round just one shot off the lead with another impressive bogey-free performance.

Karandeep Kochhar fired a second straight bogey free round in the USD 2 million International Series Japan and was one shot off the lead at the halfway stage.
With a six-under 65, Kochhar (67-65) is 10-under at the Par-71 course.
The only other Indian making the cut was the legend Jeev Milkha Singh (72-69), who produced a late birdie on the 17th to squeeze inside the cut line at 1-under.
Kochhar's Performance
Kochhar, who had three birdies and no bogeys on Day 1, had five birdies and no bogeys in the second round.
In the second round, Kochhar parred the first five holes and then birdied the sixth and the eighth before adding four more on 11th, 13th, 14th and the 16th.
He was tied second with Japan's Shugo Imahara (67-65) and one behind Korean Hongtaek Kim (64-67).
Thailand's Poom Saksansin (65-68) is Tied-fourth with Korean Yubin Jang (70-63), Younghan Song (65-68) and Tatsunori Shogenji (66-67) at 9-under for 36-holes.
The other Indians failed to make the cut and they includes Gaganjeet. Bhullar (73-74), Shaurya Bhattacharya (75-69), Jyoti Randhawa (80-69) and SSP Chawrasia (77-79).
In the first round, Kochhar started on the tenth and parred his first nine holes. In his second nine, he had four birdies for a 4-under 67 and was in Top-10.
