Indian tennis ace Rohan Bopanna and his Romanian partner Florin Mergea produced a spirited fight back as they have booked their place in the quarter-finals of the French Open at the Roland Garros in Paris on Sunday.

The Indo-Romanian pair, who suffered a set-deficit, rebounded strongly to register a 6-2, 6-7(4), 6-1 win over American-New Zealand pair of Brian Baker and Marcus Daniell in the third round contest that lasted an one hour and 48 minutes.
