Defensive midfielder Martin Zubimendi scored twice, his first Premier League goals, as Arsenal moved to the top of the table.

Arsenal's new signings did the damage as Nottingham Forest were trounced 3-0 in the Premier League match at the Emirates Stadium on Saturday.
Defensive midfielder Martin Zubimendi scored twice, his first Premier League goals, and striker Viktor Gyokeres delivered with a close-range finish.
Back to winning ways after their 0-1 defeat to Liverpool, Arsenal lead the table with nine points from four matches. Forest are placed 14th, with four points.
Zubimendi opened the scoring with a superb volley from the edge of the box in the 32nd minute, before Viktor Gyokeres was teed up by Eberechi Eze, making his first start for Arsenal, 47 seconds into the second half.
Chris Wood and Gyokeres struck the woodwork at either end, but Zubimendi made certain of the result with 11 minutes to play, heading in from Leandro Trossard's cross.
Ange Postecoglou got a harsh reintroduction to the Premier League. The trip to Arsenal was among the hardest possible starts for him following his hiring by Nottingham Forest this week.
Carvalho scores late as Brentford hold Chelsea
Fabio Carvalho was Brentford’s derby hero as he came off the bench to score a stoppage-time equaliser in a thrilling 2-2 draw with Chelsea.
The Blues looked set to take the points and move top of the Premier League standings for Saturday night after Moises Caicedo thundered in from the edge of the box in the 85th minute.
Cole Palmer – making his return from injury – had dragged his side level just after the hour, cancelling out Kevin Schade’s 35th-minute opener. It was the Chelsea talisman's first goal since a penalty against Liverpool in May, and his first from open play since January.
Yet just as it seemed as if Caicedo had broken Brentford's hearts, Keith Andrews’ team came up with a leveller when substitute Carvalho bundled in from a long throw-in, in the third minute of stoppage time.
Carvalho’s late show means Chelsea now sit in fifth instead of first, while Brentford are 12th with four points from their four games.
Late signing Woltemade takes Newcastle past Wolverhampton
It was also a day when a slew of the Premier League's late-summer signings made their debuts and one of the them was Nick Woltemade, who headed home Newcastle's goal in a 1-0 win over Wolverhampton.
Woltemade is a lanky Germany international who joined Newcastle for a reported club-record fee of 69 million pounds ($93 million) to replace Alexander Isak. The 6-foot-6 (1.98 meters) striker became an immediate favorite at St. James' Park by leaping at the far post to plant home a powerful header.
In other results, Tottenham benefitted from the second-half sending-off of Tomas Soucek to win 3-0 at West Ham and join first-place Arsenal on nine points along with Bournemouth, whose in-form winger Antoine Semenyo converted a penalty to seal a 2-1 win over Brighton.
Defending champions Liverpool also have nine points and play Burnley away on Sunday in its game in hand.
Fulham was gifted an own-goal in stoppage time to beat Leeds 1-0, Aston Villa was still without a goal this season after a 0-0 draw at Everton, and Crystal Palace and Sunderland also played out a goalless draw.
