Mahesh Bhupathi, along with compatriot Sania Mirza, won the mixed doubles title at the Australian Open on Sunday.
The win gave Bhupathi his 11th Grand Slam title and swelled his mixed doubles tally to seven.

A look at history suggests that Bhupathi started his major trophies collection with a mixed doubles triumph, alongside Japan's Rika Hiraki (inset) at the 1997 French Open.
The Indo-Japanese duo beat the American pair of Patrick Galbraith and Lisa Raymond 6-4, 6-1 to win the Roland Garros title, the win making Bhupathi the first Indian to win a Grand Slam crown.
