Jeev Milkha Singh [Images] consolidated his stature as the highest ranked Indian by moving up four rungs to the 60th place, while off-colour Jyoti Randhawa could not arrest the slide and slipped to 106 in the latest world golf rankings.

Jeev, who finished tied 11th in the Mercedes-Benz Championship, moved up four places from his last week's 60th place to inch close towards his goal of breaking back into the top 50 which would open the door of many a prestigious event for the seasoned Indian.

Randhawa has not been in the pink of his health and was battling high fever as he played in the Mercedes-Benz Championship. The last place finish there surely did not reflect his skill but the result saw the lanky pro lose four places and slip to 106.

The next Indian on the chart is Orlando-based Arjun Atwal, who occupies the 217th place. Atwal finished tied 18th in the Albertsons Boise Open on the Nationwide Tour to boost his chances of securing a PGA Tour card next year.

Indian Masters winner S S P Chowrasia was at 269th after his below-par tied 73rd finish at Mercedes-Benz Championship.
