Karan Rastogi booked a berth in the semi-finals of the US $15,000 ITF tournament in Meshref, Kuwait, on Thursday after his opponent, Navdeep Singh, retired midway through the quarter-final clash.
Fifth-seeded Rastogi was leading 6-2, 4-2 when his unseeded compatriot decided to concede the match.
Navdeep defeated local favourite Ahmad Rabeea Muhammad in the pre-quarter-finals on Wednesday, while Rastogi got a bye.
