Sania Mirza had some positive outcome in an unfortunate week as she gained one place to move up to 45 in the latest WTA Tour singles rankings released on Monday.

Sania, who was placed 46th last week, suffered an anterior cruciate ligament injury in her right knee during a match in the Qatar Open on Monday and was later hospitalised in Hyderabad.

The 20-year-old will miss the action for atleast four weeks after her troublesome right knee indicated "a possible Anterior Cruciate Ligament" injury.

Among her compatriots, US-based Shikha Uberoi slipped seven rungs to 238.

Among the Indian men, Mahesh Bhupathi reaped the rewards of a final appearance with Czech Republic's Radek Stepanek in Dubai as he climbed six places to be 21 in the ATP Doubles Entry rankings.

Bhupathi's estranged partner Leander Paes retained his no. 12 ranking.
