Mahesh Bhupathi [Images] and new partner Jamie Murray of Scotland survived a tough first round to set up a Thursday night center court showdown with Bob and Mike Bryan at the Cincinnati Masters.

Bhupathi-Murray scraped through to a 7-6(1), 6-7(5), 10-3 win over Argentine Juan Monaco and Todd Perry of Australia on Wednesday.

The Indian had last week teamed with Czech Pavel Vizner to take out the Bryans in the Rogers Masters semifinals after saving two match points.

The Bryans had received a first round bye for the tournament.
