Bhupathi-Stepanek exit from Masters

Mahesh Bhupathi and Radek Stepanek fell to second seeds Jonas Bjorkman and Max Mirnyi in the second round of the Monte Carlo Masters on Thursday.

Bjorkman-Mirnyi beat the Indo-Czech pair 6-3, 6-4 to advance to the quarter-finals.

Top seeds Mike and Bob Bryan also made it to the final eight teams with a 6-2, 6-1 victory over the Argentine pair of Jose Acasuso and Juan Ignacio Chela.

Bhupathi-Stepanek had beaten France's Arnaud Clement and Michael Llodra 6-4, 6-4 in the first round on Tuesday.
