Former champion Anastasia Myskina [Images] of Russia [Images] blew India's Sania Mirza [Images] off the court in less than an hour in the first round of the French Open in Paris on Tuesday.

The 19-year-old tennis sensation, who returned to competitive tennis only two weeks earlier after recovering from wrist and lower-back injuries, lost 4-6, 1-6 to the 10th seeded Myskina.

Mirza has paired up with Janette Husarova of Slovakia for the doubles and the pair will face Catalina Castano of Colombia and C Martinez Granados of Spain in their first round.

Martina Hingis [Images], who recently capped her comeback with the Italian Open title, breezed past America's Lisa Raymond 6-2, 6-2 to keep her French Open hopes alive.

The five-time Grand Slam Champion is yet to win the title in Paris
