India finished fourth after losing to Indonesia in the Asian Zone qualifier of the Thomas Cup badminton in Jaipur on Sunday.

Arvind Bhatt won his singles match against Indonesia's Santoso Simon 21-13, 21-15, but the other Indians failed to pull it off against their stronger opponents as they went down 1-3 in the play-off for the third and fourth places.

In the first singles, Chetan Anand lost to Kuncoro Sony Dwi 13-21, 18-21. Hadiyanyo Liluk and Yulianto Alvent doubles Indonesia's lead as they beat Rupesh Kumar and Sanave Thomas 21-12, 21-11 in the doubles.

Bhatt gave the Indians some hope with his victory over Santoso Simon, but Diju V and Ismail Aseel P could not take advantage and were beaten by Kido Marks and Sehwan Hendra 6-21, 20-22 in the doubles.
