Sania-Liezel win doubles

Sania Mirza [Images], partnering South Africa's Liezel Huber, annexed the doubles title at the WTA Bangalore Open on Sunday night.

The second seeds beat the Russia's [Images] Elena Vesnina and Anastassia Rodionova 6-3, 6-3 in the final of the WTA Tier-III event at Karnataka State Lawn Tennis Association courts in Bangalore.

The winning pair collected US $8,250 and 120 points, while the Russian twosome, seeded fourth, had to be satisfied with US $4,350 and 85 points.
