Sania Mirza [Images], away from competitive tennis for around two months now, slipped two rungs and is placed 34th in the latest WTA rankings.

The Indian ace was pushed down by Russia's [Images] Anna Chakvetadze [Images] and Spain's Anabel Medina Garriques, who occupy the 32nd and 33rd places respectively.

The Hyderabadi lass, who was recuperating from a lower back injury during her season break after the second round of the Thailand Open WTA event at Bangkok in October, returned to the courts on Sunday to play a celebrity mixed doubles match alongside tennis ace Mahesh Bhupathi [Images] against 1996 Wimbledon [Images] champion Richard Krajicek and his sister Michaela.

She will leave for Australia [Images] later this week to train under elite coach Tony Roche.
