Fourth seed Rik De Voest of South Africa advanced to the semi-finals of the Belgaum ATP Challenger with a 7-6(7-1), 6-4 victory over Russia's Dmitry Vlasov on Friday.

De Voest is the only seeded player left in the fray as seventh seed Vadim Kutsenko of Uzbekistan made his exit, losing 2-6, 6-4, 2-6 to Dieter Kindlmann of Germany.

In the other quarter-finals, Branislav Sekac of Slovakia rallied to beat Stephane Bohli of Switzerland 3-6, 6-1, 6-1, while Yuri Schukin demolished Teimuraz Gabashvili 6-1, 6-1 in an all-Russian affair.

For berths to the title round, De Voest will take on Schukin, while Sekac meets Kindlmann.
