Top seeds India's Mahesh Bhupathi and Max Mirnyi of Belarus moved into the third round of the men's doubles in Wimbledon after getting a walkover from the Czech pair of Jiri Novak and Radek Stepanek.

Bhupathi and Mirnyi will next face Argentina's Gaston Eltis and Martin Rodriguez.

Bhupathi later teamed up with Argentina's Paola Suarez in the mixed doubles to beat Arvind Parmar and Anne Keothavong of Great Britain 6-2, 6-1 in a first round match.

Bhupathi and Suarez, the top seeds, will now take on Jared Palmer and Abigail Spears of the United States.
