Ziege suffers another setback

December 19, 2003 19:34 IST

Tottenham Hotspur defender Christian Ziege has suffered a further setback after pulling a thigh muscle in his first training session after weeks out of action.

The injury-plagued German international said on Friday he had hurt his left thigh and did not know how long he would be sidelined.

Ziege injured his knee in November in his comeback match after 10 months out with a serious thigh injury.

"I'm starting to be fed up with it", the 31-year-old said on his website.

"A new year is coming and it's about time, 2003 was a wasted year for me."
