Congress supporters celebrated their party's victory by bursting crackers, playing drums, dancing on the streets and exchanging sweets.

Congress supporters took out rallies, carrying party flags and huge placards of Congress president Sonia Gandhi, All India Congress Committee general secretary Rahul Gandhi and Prime Minister Manmohan Singh.
