Gursharan Kaur, wife of Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, on Friday met Manjula, the spouse of slain engineer K Suryanarayan, at the Asian Institute of Gastroenterology in Hyderabad and expressed her condolences.
Kaur also inquired about Manjula's health, undergoing treatment after attempting suicide.
Meanwhile, doctors attending on Manjula said her condition, though it had improved a little, was still critical.
Her condition would be monitored for another day or two, said Dr Nageshwar Reddy, head of the hospital.
