The Tamil Nadu police on Wednesday night arrested a senior Tamil National Liberation Army leader for his alleged role in the abduction of former Karnataka minister H Nagappa by forest brigand Veerappan.
TNLA treasurer Kumaresan was picked up from his hideout at Perambalur, a senior police official said.
Nagappa was found dead in Changdi forests on December 8 last year after spending 106 days in Veerappan's captivity.
